Kerry is a neuroaffirming psychologist who works with adolescents and adults across a broad range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, work–life balance challenges, and complex mental health conditions such as borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia. She has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, and she has experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Kerry utilises an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to individual needs. She draws on various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (I-CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
Qualifications and Background
Kerry holds a Diploma of Counselling from Bower Place (2013), a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Flinders University (2018), and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Monash University (2019). Kerry is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
Before becoming a psychologist, Kerry worked for seven years as a Psychosocial Support Worker, aiding individuals with various mental health conditions and disabilities, including anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and acquired brain injury.
Kerry is committed to providing high-quality care, grounded in ethical practice, confidentiality, and a client-centred approach. She maintains her professional development through ongoing training and regular peer supervision.
